Scott Palermo's brother took guitar lessons in high school and hated it. The guitar was lying there and Scott picked it up and said, "What can I do with this?". He is self-taught and brings to his music the rich folk tradition of the sixties and seventies. He takes that flavor; exemplified by influences such as John Prine, Cat Stevens, Gordon Lightfoot, and John Denver; and blends it with more contemporary folk artists and his original compositions to create a program that is musical, historical, and pleasing to audiences of all ages.
