Peterson Toscano is a playwright, actor, Bible scholar, blogger, podcaster, advocate against global warming, and gay rights activist. Although not an environmentalist, he was motivated to become a climate advocate because of his concerns about human rights and social justice. He has also joked that his Italian-American heritage has played a role too: "On a warmer planet where there's more drought, there will be more crop failure, including potentially, failures of wheat production, leading to shortages of pasta. I was like, wait, what?".

Bio Peterson Toscano has been a force in comedy and comic storytelling since 2003, captivating audiences with one-person shows such as "Doin' Time in the Homo No Mo Halfway House," "Queer 101-Now I Know My gAy, B, Cs," and "Does This Apocalypse Make Me Look Fat?" A true character actor, often called a shape-shifter, Peterson has performed at over 100 universities in North America and at clubs and festivals in Canada, the United Kingdom, Cameroon, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and South Africa.

Growing up in Lake Huntington, NY, Peterson learned the art of comedy from his parents, Pete and Anita, at Pete's Pub, shaping his unique style and storytelling prowess. In addition to performing, Peterson produces podcasts, radio programs, and homemade Italian bread.
