For its final production of the 2024 season, River Rep Theatre presents MacArthur Genius Larissa FastHorse’s hit comedy THE THANKSGIVING PLAY, which follows a troupe of (very) well-intentioned theater people as they scramble to create a pageant that somehow manages to celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month. Rambunctious, thorny and not quite politically correct, THE THANKSGIVING PLAY serves up the hypocrisies of woke America on a big, family-style, platter. Get ready to laugh, gasp and have a smorgasbord of things to talk about!
