The DVO is partnering with the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra and maestro Kathleen Beckmann in a program of highlights from Verdi’s Rigoletto, on Saturday, January 21, 2012 (snow date: 1/22/12), at 7:30 p.m. in the F.D. Roosevelt High School Auditorium in Hyde Park, NY, featuring soloists Maryann Mootos, Martin Fisher, Blake Friedman, Gennadiy Vysotskiy, Julia Mintzer, and Caroline Tye, directed by Carol Castel. The DVO will present the same program with piano at a special Season Opening Fundraiser, at the DVAA in Narrowsburg, on Saturday, February 4, at 7:00 p.m., featuring Francisco Perez-Abreu, Evelyn Thatcher, Alexander Caraballo, Jeremy Griffin, and Caroline Tye, with pianist Violetta Zabbi. A reception will follow the performance. Come warm up a cold February evening with great music, great singing, and great company!
